Insan Bumi Mandiri Distributes 4000 Ramadan Packages for Inland Residents

Bandung, April 11, 2025 – New clothes might be normal for some people, but for Mrs. Satuni, it is a happiness that is delayed for decades. “I haven’t bought my own clothes for a long time, usually only wearing used clothes from people who are sorry. My husband died of cancer five years ago. This assistance made me feel valued and not alone,” he said quietly. This story is only one of thousands of emotion stories that color the Ramadhan 1446 H program in remote areas of Indonesia.

During the holy month of Ramadan this year, Insan Bumi Mandiri together with donors and partners have held 18 humanitarian programs to present Ramadan that are memorable to the people in the 3T area. A total of 4,494 beneficiaries feel firsthand the impact of this goodness. The main target of the program is those who are in the most vulnerable conditions, including orphans, santri and Hafidz Al-Qur’an, Widows, Dhuafa, and CIALFs who live far from access to assistance.

The activities carried out also vary, ranging from opening together in the interior, giving Lebaran prizes, construction and fulfillment of mosque facilities, to the construction of access to clean water. Program funds come from general donations or intended as zakat and fidyah, making it a means of worship as well as a bridge of social care.

The distribution of programs to reach various remote points of Indonesia, including Papua Mountains, North Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Yogyakarta, East Java, Central Java, West Java, to Aceh. One form of real collaboration came from Paragoncorp which distributed 1,000 assistance packages.

In Bicoli Village, North Maluku, the atmosphere of Ramadan is so lively. “We are very happy, and mothers here are enthusiastic because we can cook luxury food. Children are also happy because they can enjoy the fasting menu with chicken, which we rarely eat. Thank you to Insan Bumi Mandiri and donors who have shared sustenance with us,” said Mrs. Titi, one of the residents.
