Bandung, April 8, 2025 – Limited food access is often a challenge for people in the interior, especially during the month of Ramadan. This year, Insan Bumi Mandiri distributed breaking the fast package to 1,575 residents in five provinces, including North Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, South Sumatra and West Papua. Of these, 1,000 residents participated in the activity of breaking the fast together which not only became a moment to let go of thirst after fasting, but also strengthened togetherness in the midst of limitations.

In addition to the support of donors, Insan Bumi Mandiri in collaboration with PT Paragon Technology and Innovation to channel the breaking package for around 660 beneficiaries in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, and Aenesa District, Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This collaboration expands the range of benefits so that more inland people can feel the happiness of breaking the fast in the holy month.

This year, for the first time, Insan Bumi Mandiri held a breakdown activity in Gotowasi Village and Bicoli Village, South Maba District, East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku. The enthusiasm of the residents was so high, considering that breaking the fast together with a complete dish was a rare moment for them. “We are very happy, and mothers here are enthusiastic because they can cook luxury food. Children are also happy because they can enjoy the fasting menu with chicken, which we rarely eat. Thank you to Insan Bumi Mandiri and donors who have shared sustenance with us,” said Titi, one of the residents of Bicoli Village.

Similar activities also took place in Muara Tiku Village, Karang Jaya District, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. The mosque which is the location of breaking the fast there is the result of the construction of the donations of the benefactors through the Bumi Mandiri Insan. Now, the mosque is not only a place of worship, but also the center of activity to strengthen the bond of friendship. “Alhamdulillah, it is our third year to break the fast together with the Bumi Mandiri people in this mosque. The goodness of donors continues to benefit us,” said one of the local mosque administrators.

In West Papua, the spirit of mutual cooperation is clearly visible in the preparation of breaking the fast. Even though they are in remote areas, residents work together to make sure all can enjoy the break of breaking fast together.

Interestingly, in several locations, this breaking activity carries the concept of environmentally friendly. Residents carry plates, glasses, and their own cutlery to reduce plastic waste. This is in line with the spirit of togetherness to be presented, where everyone contributes to joint happiness. “Seeing residents supporting and sharing each other at this moment gives hope that solidarity can grow anywhere, including in the interior. We want togetherness and warmth like this to be increasingly felt and reach more of our brothers in remote areas of the country,” said Zulfa Faizah Musyahidah, Director of Insan Bumi Mandiri.

With the support of donors and volunteers, the moment of breaking the fast in the interior is a form of concern and trust that Ramadan has always been a month full of blessings for all. Insan Bumi Mandiri is committed to continuing to bring happiness to the interior community, ensuring that they can also feel togetherness and warmth in every bribe of breaking.
