Umrah Qadha is the Umrah that the Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam in the 7th year of Hijri replaced Umrah which was postponed by the Hudaibiyah agreement. He entered Mecca with 2,000 friends without war. They do tawaf, sa’i, and slaughter sacrifice peacefully. This event is a symbol of the victory of Islamic law in the holy city.

Ibn Hajar Rahimahullah said, “Al-Hakim in his book Al-Iklil conveyed based on concerns when the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam knew the arrival of Dzulqa’dah, he ordered his friends to conduct Umrah, not the Umrah previously postponed by the Umrah’ known by Umrah.”

Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam departed in the 7th year of Hijri. After months passed since Muslims prevented him from entering the city of Mecca, he now brought 60 qurban camels, war equipment, and 100 cavities as a form of vigilance for the possibility of betrayal. After arriving at Dzulhulaifah, he assigned a cavalry led by Muhammad bin Maslamar in the front row, while other armed forces were led by Basyir bin Sa’ad.

The Prophet and his friends started their ihram while the quarrel, “The best from Allahumma is good.” Meanwhile, the cavalry under Muhammad bin Maslamah had arrived in Marra Zhahran and met a group of Muslims. When asked, Muhammad bin Maslamar replied, “This is a prophet. God willing, tomorrow morning he will arrive here.” Hearing the news, Muslims immediately informed it to the leader of Quraish, and they were surprised.

After arriving at Marra Zhahran, the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam placed weapons in the valley of Ya’jaj, which was still clear from the province of Al-Haram Mecca. To care for him, he assigned Aus bin Khuli al-Anshari with 200 teams. Quraish people even climb the hill slopes to see their arrival. Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam showed al-Hadyu (sacrificial animal for pilgrimage) and left it in Dzi Thuwa.

In Sahih al-Bukhari, from Ibn ‘Abbas Radhiyallahu’ Anhuma, it was stated that when the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and his companions entered Mecca, the polytheists sneered, “He came in a weak state due to Yatsrib’s fever.” To refute the reproach, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ordered his best friend to jog in the first three rounds of tawaf, then walked normally between two pillars.

Ibn Salamah added, the Prophet said, “Running for Tawaf for Muslims to see your strength.” Even Quraish watched them from the top of the Qu’aiqi’an hill.

In the head of Ibn Hisham, it was told that when the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam entered the holy mosque, he revealed the ihram cloth until his right shoulder appeared, “Allah poured his mercy to anyone who showed the power of the day before Muslims.” He then wiped the pillar (the corner of the Kaaba) and started Tawaf with a jog. After arriving at the pillar of Yamani, he wiped, and he walked to Aswad, and returned Tawaf in the same way in the first three rotations, his rest.

After Tawaf, he did Shafa and Marwah in his vehicle. After arriving in the seventh rotation, and Al-Hadyu was near the Marwah hill, he said, “This is a place of sacrifice, and the whole city of Mecca is a place of massacre.”

The Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam then ordered several friends to meet the team that cared for the valley of Ya’jaj. They take turns with weapons, while others make pilgrimage.

In the history of Sahih al-Bukhari, after the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam finished Umrah and when he lived in Mecca, the Muslims told him to leave immediately. However, suddenly hearing the voice of the little girl: “Uncle! O my uncle!” Apparently, it was the daughter of Hamzah Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu. Ali immediately raised him and said to Fatimah, “He treated, because he was your uncle’s daughter.” Zaid and Ja’far also want it.

There was a difference of opinion. Ali said, “I’m more entitled, she is my uncle’s daughter.” Ja’far said, “I’m more entitled because her aunt is my wife.” Zaid also said, “He is my nephew.” Finally, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam decided that custody fell on his aunt, because “aunt from the mother’s path like mother.” He also said to Ali, “You are part of me and I’m part of you.” To Ja’far, he said, “You are similar to me in a moral and physical manner.” And to Zaid, he said, “You are our brothers and leaders.”

On the way home, the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam married Maimunah Princess Al-Harits when he felt nerve. He then continued his journey to Medina.

The lesson is valuable

First: Umrah Qadha is a reflection of the victory of Muslims over Muslims. Muslims can enter the city of Mecca for Tawaf, Sa’i, and showcase the law of Quraish in front of Muslim Quraish without doing anything.

This picture of victory is clear because we compare it with the beginning of the sermon. At that time, Muslims could not show their religion and could not pronounce a piece of verse from the Qur’an al-Karim. However, at the time of Qadha, they can do Talbiyah, Tawaf, Sa’i, peacefully and calmly.

Second: The weapons brought by the Messenger of Allah and placed it in Ya’ja ‘close to Mecca were aware of the treasure of the polytheists. From here we must be alert and careful, especially in the situation and conditions, it is feared that there will be betrayal and sudden attacks from infidels.

Third: It is possible to capture the anger of Muslims. Indeed, the Prophet, when he knew what Muslims said that Muslims were in a state of illness, he ordered his friends to run around in his tawaf so that Muslims see how strong and strong Muslims, so that their anger was arrested. Author Zaadul Ma’aad said, “The Prophet always tried to deceive people who did not believe as much as possible.” This opinion was reinforced by Ibn Kathir and As-Syami.

Fourth: These practices are still carried out until the day of judgment, although the reasons for their assistance are no longer available. Ibn Qayyim said, “This is part of the law that the law that used to have a reason is not needed that his survival must have that reason.”

Fifth: Said the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam, “Allah blessed who showed his strength today,” shows one of the methods of sermon in the framework of motivating and showing the strength of Muslims and captivating the anger of Muslims. This is the method used by the Prophet in several situations. When he said, “God blesses people who shave their hair,” he repeated three times. This is in the process of motivating to shave hair and explain the priority of a bald razor on the Hudaibiyah event as discussed.

Sixth: Decision of the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam about the status of Princess Hamzah and his beautiful words and souls to Ali, Ja’far, and Zaid are beautiful moral evidence, his tenderness, and efforts to entertain the soul that can bring the peace of his mind. This must be emulated, especially for preachers.
